The abreviation "AFK" stands for "away from keyboard." When you leave your house, we can be here for you to make sure your pets stay safe.   We currently will watch multi-pet houses, included a wide range of animals.

How do I know what I need?

Whether you feel like something is off in your communication with your dog or even if you are dreaming of pro-level skills, let Nerdy Dog support you on that journey. Our trainers will assess your pet's unique personality and needs before working with you to create a custom campaign to fit your household. Maybe your dog needs to work on some basic manners, or maybe there are some habits that just don't quite fit into your home's "questline." Whatever the challenge, we create a plan that targets those particular areas.

Think of us as the quest-givers in your pet's adventure, guiding them through the challenges of becoming a well-adjusted member of your family. It is so easy to forget that your pet does not come with a built-in rulebook-they literally have no idea what is and isn't acceptable or what will displease you. With our help, however, we are able to bridge that gap and create heroes for your family. Whether through leveling up obedience, mastering tricks, or falling into the rhythm of your household, Nerdy Dog aims to make your pet's journey a successful one.

How do I know what my dog needs?

Your dog constantly sends you signals about how he's feeling, but do you know what he's trying to tell you? Each yawn, each stretch, each cry, and each dance is his own way of giving you very valuable feedback on his life. For example, if your dog is chewing the furniture, peeing on a particular pillow, panting at the door all day, or drinking way more water than usual, these may be important clues about needs or stressors for your dog.

Our trainers are here to help you decode those canine signals and find out what your dog might need. We can help you identify whether your dog needs more exercise, is stressed by something in particular, or may have health issues that should be addressed by a veterinarian. Bear in mind, however, that although we are here to help you, we cannot take the place of emergency veterinary services. Let us help you understand and address your dog's needs so they can get the right care and attention.
